I'm curious as to the reason for this latest drive for members?

It doesn't seem to be a problem for LQ.org in atracting new members, or could nobody think of what to do with two spare t-shirts?

For the same reasons that any website tries to grow. In LQ's case, the more members there are, the more information can be exchanged, and the more useful LQ will become to all. -- J.W.

Shh.. LQ.org is trying to take over the world. Once they become a member, we own them from there on out..

absolutely brilliant.

For more of this man and his staggering talent, watch him paint a picture at yakov.com

(I only found it because I did not want to spell his name wrong, considering the original intent of the thread)

hi there

i again introduced LQ at my group meet today
and some of them registered also
but some problem was there , they could not register simultaneously from our IT center
thats because i think that they were using diskless cleints so they were sharing a same server

so they had to take chances One by One in registering at LQ
regards

As long as they all had unique email addresses, they should have been able to register without problem. You would need to delete all cookies from one user before registering as another, though.

yes the problem was due to cookies i think because
when one of them registered with one email-id

the second one could not register as it was showing the status that he is already logged in with the previous one's user name

so the logout option allowed the other user to clear cookies and register

regards
