For the first time ever, I am stunned. I have never heard of anyone calling out Jeremy - the most easy going and laid back of the whole team. And all over a silly thing such as, as, a title. That must take the 2009 Whole Internet Prize for Utterly pointless Argument ever. *slow clap*
Seriously, w2lmigrant (I'm not typing that out), if you don't like something on LQ and it's not going to change and you see it as such a massive dealbreaker that you offered to debate Jeremy in exchange for all your money and worldly goods, then maybe the internet isn't for you. I would suggest usenet or a BBS, but they may be too racy for you too. Have you thought about writing to your local newspaper instead? That may be more your speed.
4 In the event of your victory you may delete my LQ user account and I will never again darken your doorstep or this forum. If this is not sufficient reward for you then name your price and if it is within my power to do so I will agree to it. You must state your price and I must agree to it before the debate begins. I define price as something other than money.
I noticed your weaselly final sentence just now. But giving all of your worldly goods to Jeremy is well within your power.
And, really, you won't darken our door again?
You have manufactured an argument that does not exist. Why?
