My Blog searched by Google etc.?

If I were to create an LQ Blog would it be searched, and/or searchable, by Google, bots, spiders, etc.?

Are the LQ Blogs searched by the LQ vanilla or advanced search engine(s)?

typically the <meta > tags are searched by most Internet search engines. Google seems to have a little more detail to their results which is why I use them, but filling in the <meta name= > and <meta description= > fields should increase the number of hits.

Most search engines don't really use meta tags anymore, but to answer your question: yes, your blog here at LQ will get searched by all the spiders.
