"LUG" in user details and displayed on left bar.

I would like to suggest adding 'LUG' as one of the possible user details, along with 'distribution', and 'where you live', which shows up on the left bar with each post. As a linux user, this is at least as important to me as the town where I live... also if I have my LUG set as part of my profile, I can act as a point of contact for my LUG.

It is an interesting idea, though I think users that are actively involved in a LUG are a very tiny minority of the total users on LQ. The LUG forum itself has one of the lowest post counts on the entire site.

I think this is something that can already be done if you would like: place it in your signature. In my opinion, adding a LUG field would be unnecessary.
