If this qualifies for this thread, I'd like to see the "Currently Active Users"
listed on the LQ Forums page in alphabetical order. And it was nice when you
had that stat about when the most users was online down there, also.
thumbs up for the new integrated login bookmarks! It looks much nicer as well.
I really like the search bar- my bookmarks, my wishlist and all bookmarks. What's a wishlist though (apart from the obvious- a list of wishes- what is it in this context? )

- Listing them alpha is unfortunately just not worth the extra resources
- "Most users ever online" never went away - it's in the same spot as ever
- A watchlist allows you to keep an eye on what bookmarks other members add

Where would that be? IIRC it used to be at the bottom of Currently Active Users,
which also used to be listed alpha. Today it's like searching for a needle in a
haystack to see who's online with 103 members listed in no certain order.
I'm wondering how much resources it takes to list how many people are viewing
a forum, and what usefulness that has?

I do not think any improvement is needed
the system works well is bug free and FREE OF CHARGE
I am totally amazed that someone can complain that he has to wait 40 seconds although I suspect that comment was TONGUE IN CHEEK.
No matter what you do there will always be some people who will knock you down
Best bet is to ignore it all .You clearly know what is needed and have done a magnificent job providing it.
I do often look at the zero replies threads and all too often
They are over my head so I cant help But there have also been some where they post before the y check to see if the question has already been dealt with ,in those cases they deserve zero reply .
I think in the true spirit of free software, the owner of this site has generously allowed us to participate in the direction of LQ. I do apologize for being over-critical and not doing my homework. I find with the aid of the advanced search features I can search the forums much more easily now. I had not even noticed these features until a few days ago when Jeremey corrected me. We all learn at different rates, I guess. Maybe more visual emphasis needs to be put on the search form. I know that Yahoo has adopted a cleaner, more google-like look for the benefit of us twits who can't navigate around a site very well.

No, I mean it, that is/was annoying. Wether the site is free or not, Jeremy asked for suggestions and feedback, and I gadly gave it.
...and I understand that was to lower the load on the website.

All the comment so far were constructive critisim. All positive critisim with help Jeremy make LQ a greater site everyday.
There were no personal attacks, or stupid comments so far.

This forum is the "Website Suggestions & Feedback", it would beat the purpose to ignore the feedback.
It would be jumping conclusions to say that everyone here is giving crap to Jeremy all the time, I'm sure if you lookup their posting histories, you'll see "thank you" posts every now and then.

It is slightly annoying in the sense that if you make a typo in your search and have to wait for those interminable seconds to pass before trying again

You're right. Nothing is perfect and it's as annoying to see meaningless sugar-coated praise of LQ as it is to see annoying complaints. As a webmaster I should never be satisfied if I didn't get both sides of the story.

I'd like to see rss feeds for each forum (ex: Linux - Networking.) That way users knowledgeable in a certain area would be able to be notified of other users' issues by the means of their choice and focus on their area of experience.
