First thing I have to say is well done, it is really cool and should help us not get lost in the future.
Maybe it could be spiffed up a bit graphics wise?
Also, a more practical suggestion: could you run mini menu of the different areas at the top so that you don't have to scroll to see everything? these links would lead to the on page information, not the actual things/places/pages (?)
I really like the "what it is" and "what can I do" columns.
