LQ ISO Reminder

Since it recently hit half a million downloads, I figured I'd remind everyone about LQ ISO. LQ ISO now has over 115 distribution versions available from over 350 mirrors. If you're looking for a place to find fast Linux download mirrors, LQ ISO is for you. Don't forget to tell others who you recommend Linux to about LQ ISO. If you see your favorite distribution version or mirror missing, please use the suggest feature. Thanks.

I went to the ISO page, clicked on slackware 10.1, clicked on the ISO 1 link for 10.1, and it took me here:

http://www.man.olsztyn.pl/

I cleared my cache (Firefox 1.0.1) and tried it again, now I'm getting that ftp.man.olsztyn.pl could not be found.

Works for me...

It works for me too. Which mirror did you click, by the way?

I clicked on the first link right under x86 next to the ISO 1.

I had the same result with Mozilla 1.6 earlier. I'm using Mozilla now and I just clicked on the link again and this time the download dialog popped up normally.

So, I opened Firefox 1.0.1 again, and this time I clicked on the link and now I'm getting:

"The operation timed out when attempting to contact ftp.physics.upatras.gr"

Uh... this is on my Windows 2000 machine. I just moved and haven't setup my slack 10 box. Maybe it's time for the usual, normal, periodic, gotta-do-it, reformat and reinstall.
On this box I continually run Norton Antivirus, Spybot, Adaware, and I have ZoneAlarm running.

Some of the mirrors may be down from time to time. We are working on an automated system that will pull mirrors that are down for a specified time out of the list, but that feature is not yet completed.

OK, I see now that those sites are related to mirrors.
The thing that threw me off was hitting that http://www.man.olsztyn.pl/ site. Since it's in some language I am not familar with, it looked like the URL had been hijacked to some spam site, or something.
Sorry for the confusion on my part.
