Logout button hard to find
 

Many pages don't even have it, and the ones that do, have it in small font on the bottom of the page or in some other unpredictable location. Ideally it should always be on the "Main Menu" thing on the top-right of the page, or somewhere else near the top.

It is under the category "My LQ" section on every page on the right side.. :rolleyes:

But why is that below the Google ad? It would be right in place just above it.

Perhaps Jeremy thought it was better suited under the ad.. :rolleyes:

i am of the view that the logpout button should in the main horizontal bar after the "User CP" link

Based on the stats, most people don't logout. Coupled with the fact that it's really "account" related, I think MyLQ is the correct place for it.

what i think is

maybe people do not logout beacuse they are not able to spot logout link easily.

this used to happen to me earlier when i was new to LQ and i had not explored all the links

i have like 100 posts.. and only recently did I notice the "My LQ" section... i didnt even know it was there.. hidden below the ad

but i guess money rules.. makes us scroll down + look at the ad.. more chance we'd click on it :rolleyes:

i do not think LQ is more about Money

sure u need money to maintain those servers

there can be no ads on this site if the membership is kept for some amount,again then not everyone can get help from here then.
