Question linuxquestions vs. linuxexchange

I'm not sure if this is correct place to ask this.

But I've received a linuxquestions email about linuxexchange.

At first look, they both seem to have the same purpose, just a different interface.

What is different with LinuxExchange ?

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ge-org-801793/ has a bit of information on the difference and reasons for launching LinuxExchange.

What's the difference between linuxexchange.org and linux.stackexchange.org? Is it just that one is just for Linux and the other is for Unix and Linux?

It doesn't seem that linux.stackexchange.org exists.

It redirects to unix.stackexchange.org, which seems to cover the same ground as linuxexchange, but cover unix as well.

Ah, I'm guessing you meant linux.stackexchange.com then. The difference between them are that one is run by LQ and runs on the Open Source OSQA platform and the other one is not run by LQ and runs on the closed source .net StackExchange platform.
