Thats right, on 6/16/2003 LinuxQuestions.org will offically turn three. The site has come a long way since then and I would like to thank each and every member for making LQ one of the finest Linux sites on the web.

Let's be nice and multicultural. Let's see how many languages we can 'sing' happy birthday in for Linux Questions. I'll be really boring and start with English:
Happy birthday to you,
happy birthday to you,
happy birthday to LQ,
happy birthday to you.

Hey, that rhymed.

Keep it up everyone.

frieza 06-16-2003 08:43 PM

happy bday... really have got ALOT out of lq, keep it going strong :)

darin3200 06-16-2003 09:32 PM

hey thymox
gelukkig verjaardag aan u
gelukkig verjaardag aan u
gelukkig verjaardag aan LQ
gelukkig verjaardag aan u
this is dutch. The translator I used is weird. When you put happy birthday to you, change it to dutch, and then when I change it bakc I get the first dutch word follyed by annevisary to you. so this is the dutch word for happy followed by anneverisary to you.

darin3200 06-16-2003 09:39 PM

(all are rough translations)

French
joyeux anniversaire à vous
joyeux anniversaire à vous

---------
Spanish

---------------
Russian

Italian

If anyone would like to do japanese, korean, simpliefied or traditional chinese feel free to, they're hard. :)
Here the site I used, and no, I don't know all those languages :) or you can also try protuguese at altavist babble fish

And who would have thought it would have gone this far 3 years ago... I certainly didn't think so 2 and a half years ago when I clicked that registered button....

Happy Birthday LQ...

darin3200 06-17-2003 08:35 AM

hehe, i'm sorta cheap, I didn't write this either, used mozilla composer
HTML (hypertext markup language )
-------------
Code:

(its better looking if you copy it into the source tab in composer and then look at it. :)
