Hi
Ive got my new site ready, and I want to put an image linking to Linuxquestions.org . I wonder if there are any banners or images around somewhere for that purpose.

You need www.linuxquestions.org/propaganda

And I have moved this to Website Suggestions and Feedback as it fits better there.

cyryl- I appreciate you are trying to help people, but please try and post useful things without urls. you could post a broken url- such as website DOT com.

Asking you not to do it again is a bit pointless- its done already. :)

The link ban is because of the EVIL spam that tries to flood the net.

What's the story behind this FC5 failure (no more mirrors--)?

..whats going on ..here... the idea was to get an image.. I did not like the images in propaganda so I did my own one and sent a link ..I hope the admins like it..

Is hot linking the image permitted, for the purposes of a clickable banner/button?

It would be preferable to not hot link.

I am a newbie :-) If I wanted to put a link on our LUG website nui dot fr who will give me the approval?

If I understand well, I would then be in a capacity of using an image on propaganda and put an hyperlink to linuxquestions.

Please correct me accordingly.

You can quite happily use one or more of the images on the propaganda page and link to LQ. The more publicity the better :)

Correct, you don't need any permission whatsoever to link to LQ.
