Interview With The Moderator
I'm amazed by the number of questions that some of the resident mods in LQ have answered. I'd really like to know what LQ life is for them. How many hours they spend, what sort of things they have to deal with, how close their Linux Library is to them (0r is it all from memory), are any on dial-up, how they deal with certain questions, if there's any competition between them, etc. So how about an interview with one? Anonymous even, so we might appreciate better the work they do.

Great idea... I have seen MasterC on the forum almost all the time and even questioned him "MasterC never sleeps?".

Perhaps each moderator can jot her(is) typical day moderating LQ and the tough times / members they have handled, the most embarrasing moments (on LQ of course) ... |

And I'm sure if you guys ask your questions that you want specifically answered, post them and I'm sure some of the mods will participate.. :p |
no competition?!?!?!?!
nice idea though..! |
Certainly I'd like it to be slightly humorous as well - as you can tell from my title, a variation on Interview With The Vampire - and for it to follow the other interviews in LQ, usually given to well known luminaries of the Linux world.
In many ways, working at the coalface of linux education, LQ mods with 5k plus posts have a right to be called luminaries. I'm not trying to make any friends here, it's just that 5k plus posts are just an amazing amount to write. I'll read the journals, and seeif my enthusiasm for the idea is sustained enough to come up with a list of questions. |
