I have a legitimate post needed, but

I can't post links and images to make my post better! I dont know enough about Linux yet to make any worthwhile posts

What's happening when you try to post links (not sure how you'd post images.)?

Seems to me that the fact that you don't know much about Linux is a good enough reason to make a worthwhile post.

Do you have a question or are you just rambling?

PS: You cannot post images here.

You cannot post images at all in LQ - you will need to link to the site which provides the image (whether your own site or a third party site) - this means you will need to uplaod the image to a webserver.

You cannot post polls or links to LQ until you have passed the 5 post mark. This was done ito stop spammers from misusing the site.

Rant/Ramble...

I had to post in a forum where my post would count so that in another thread (which got moved to the General Forum, oops) I could post some images. THe forum software is set that I can't post links if I have under 5 posts So this post got me above that limit

johnp, so you did something to purposely circumvent a rule and then posted about it?
