How does one reply to an Affero?

I guess this is more "affero" site related, however I don't know where else to put it.

Just wondering how people reply when they get an affero? An example:

http://svcs.affero.net/user-history.php?u=loriwinslow And the reply is to austinzoo. How did loriwinslow reply?

Thanks

replying to affero comment

An affero user can elect to receive notices from affero whenever a rating/comment/donation occurs. This preference is set in the affero volunteer preferences page. A demo for setting these prefs is located in the affero demo: turning on and off email notifications. Just go to affero.net. login and you can get to your volunteer preferences page to make this change. BTW, the notifications are set to off by default. You will need to opt-in to receive these notices.

Once someone sets their prefs to receive notifications, a message is sent to the affero member (whenever a rating happens) at their primary email address, and the email message contains the comment as well as a URL to reply to it. If you are not receiving these notifications but you have set your preferences properly, then let me know and I'll look to see if something is wrong on our end.

A little note about this feature: If you choose to reply to the original comment with - priceless or very valuable, then the comment is much more likely to appear in the margin of your affero rate/donate screen. We have a scoring mechanism that chooses the most appropriate comments to display and it uses your feedback on a comment to raise the probablity that the comment will be displayed. If someone gives you a very negative comment, you can eliminate it from your rate/donate page by categorizing it as useless in your reply.
