I recently submitted a product to the HCL. I noticed later that I didn't quite follow the right format for submission.

I then noticed that I can't go back and edit my submission. Am I missing something or is editing an entry not an option?

Only Moderators can update and yours is probably in the review process. Contact our moderator finegan and let him know which entry it is, what needs to be updated, etc.. and he should get that straightened out for you.

I submitted a HCL and a Review but it does not appear with my username beside my posts

If you submitted a new product, like mentioned before and several times after others have asked, it will show up after its been approved. Reviews of existing products do not show up in the count in your profile.
