Graphics design on linux!

I've got some newbie questions, and a bit of knowledge on the subject also, but I'd like to get into some new subjects regarding GIMP and am thinking perhaps there could be a GIMP or related section here? Any thoughts?

Not sure. There other places though, like, http://gimpforums.com/

Maybe the discussions should go there instead (??)

if you are exposed to Adobe photoshop then you can had it installed via a crossover on linux. GIMP though is quite a good tool.

I think my above link that broke was simply searching the form for Gimp... I also like: http://www.blender.org/
