I have been messing around with gnash for my AMD64 with mixed success. I can now view video, but no sound. I haven't done anything with it in the last few days, tho.

Within the last hour something changed on LQ that caused Firefox, Epiphany, and Mozilla to crash as soon as they encountered a Flash script. I was able to login using Konqueror. I removed the gnash-plugin from .mozilla, and that fixed the problem, but hopefully, I'll be able to bring it back sometime soon.

A suggestion: LQ should strive to make sure that it is compatible with Open Source replacements for Flash.

Is anyone else having a problem? The only flash we have is in the ads and the number of those I approve is few and far between.
