http://ftp.surfnet.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/distr/fedora/5/

All you have to do is make a chioce i386 or x86_64.. and then start downloading.. i tested them and got speeds up to 1,01 mbps.

happy birthday puntjuh.

Are you reffering to LQ ISO, raven4d?

LQ just links to this stuff, it doesn't host the mirrors.

If a download is popular, then the servers/mirrors will be slow. (unless of course, it's bittorrent)

This isn't something we can fix. LQ ISO only provides links to official mirrors. If those mirrors are down or slow, you'd have to contact the project directly to find out why. If you're having a problem with every fedora mirror though, I'd tend to think it was something on your end.

the thing is that i gave the internet cafe man the LQ fc5 mirros page to download me the dvd version yesterday ..

and today i called him and told me that all the mirros r stopped and the only one that worked was at about 15-20 kbps !!

that i had to go to him and giving him external mirrors other than LQ ones ..

the bad part was "the most famouse linux site how come their mirros didn't work "

but titanium_geek and jeremy saying explaind every thing ..

so why not keep the download mirrors up to date with the most new fast ones?

Bye

If you know of a faster mirror then please use the suggest feature to request that it is added. There is also a rating feature for the mirrors so if you find them slow please mark them down.
