Error message when replying to posts

I got the error message below when I replied to two posts today,
Quote:
Sorry! The administrator has specified that users can only post one message every 22 seconds.
Is this a bug somewhere? I am sure I had not replied to a post for more than 22 seconds and my replies show up fine in the list of new posts.

Has this happened to anyone else? I don't see anything wrong with the code.

Well, so far it appears to be just me. I did a google search for the error and it seems common on sites running vbulletin.

I've only gotten this message when I've actually posted a second post within 22 seconds of the previous one, usually when I'm closing double posts, etc.

Very strange problem indeed.

But it did happened to me on rare occasions, but I believe that this was due to a lost connection with the server when you post a form, you wait for a long time and press the back button and then post again. If your post has been already been submitted, you get the error message.

The solution is to refresh the page if you are not sure whether you've posted correctly or not.

I've gotten that message, but only when I post really close together (possibly 22 seconds).
