Hi i am trying to download the ISO images for Red Hat Linux 9 from http://iso.linuxquestions.org/version.php?version=10. I am using Windows XP at the momentand Firefox browser.
I right click on the link and selected Save link as and gave a location to download..but it doesnt work.What happened was that it started downloading and said finished in 2 seconds, but had done nothing. Could anyone please let me know if i am doing the right thing.
Thank you for any help in advance.

The link might be broken.

As I tried a month ago and unable to do so too. I believe it's because Redhat 9.0 is no longer surpported.

You might want to try Fedora Core 5.0.

I have moved this to Website Suggestions and Feedback. If you see an iso which is no longer available, as in this case, use the suggestions link to let us know.

Additionally, you should be aware that RH 9 is obsolete and is no longer being maintained. IIRC, support for this distro ended sometime in 2004.

Redhat 9 has been replaced by Fedora Core. I'd strongly suggest that you switch to it, or any other current distro. Good luck with it

We're currently evaluating ways to help ensure you're downloading the latest version of a distro when using LQ ISO. In the meantime, as always we're open to feedback and suggestions.

maybe hes a collector or something , 5 years of computing time is like 25 years(at least i think so) ...

ok ... if searching for a proper replacement of redhat9 , i suggest centos ... fedora is more along the lines of debian , gentoo and slackware(ok , maybe not this one ... this one is pretty good) etc , etc you get what i mean ...

//hmm ... why am i doing down here ??
