Yes. Very much so. I've had to bite my tongue (figuratively) many times, and not succeeded on a few.

That's what I thought. How come a forum about a free (as in freedom) operating system is politically correct?

Because this forum is not fully free. This forum is owned by Jeremy and he is liable for any naughtiness we perform - hence the reason for mods and thread removal/deletion.

At it's root, Political Correctness really means to be polite. And not being a dick. That's really important.

You think that all things forbidden by PC is "naughy"? Nothing bad is forbidden?

No. PC is totalitarian regime forbidding whatever PC decides to forbid. And it forbids truth. Only lies can be politically "correct", truth and mindfulness cannot. Am I the only one who can say this?

I think you'll find that I am right. Human beings have turned it into what it is, but it is supposed to give us better ways of interacting.

By forbidding thinking and discussion?
For example, can I talk here about race differences and nations' differences? About genocide of whites? About differences between men and women? About harm of immigration? Or will I be shut up?

The above nonsense does not fall under the category of "thinking".

The answer to your question, btw, is that these boundaries were actually tested just a few months ago. Here is the "post-mortem" discussion thread:

If you a) have read the thread that I linked to, and b) must put it that way, then it should be clear that the answer is yes.

Let Jeremy know if you have a problem with that.

Why not?
And I'm not taking the bait here.

Not the thread completely but a brief look.

How is shutting people up a better way of interacting?

Like it will change anything.

Also, polite towards who? All people or only those who follow PC rules?

It's not. Really, why? If you said it doesn't, you have to explain yourself. Otherwise it looks even less thought-out.
