Just a guess, but maybe you need 5,000+ posts to be a "guru". Kind of vague since I could be a newbie posting 5,000+ questions. I guess I would be the guru of asking questions.
Note that the titles are meaningless -- what really matters is the info in the post, and if someone's suggestion can solve a problem, it doesn't matter whether they have 4 posts or 4000
I noticed I just recently changed from Newbie to Member, Is 30 posts the transition point?
Who cares?
I recently hit 1000 posts, and suddenly became marked as a "Senior Member". Yes, I'm old, but the number of my postings has no refection on their worth or usefulness or, indeed my age.
There are plenty of people on this forum with 1000's of posts along the same inane lines: "Help me. My linux isn't working. Give me exact instructions, I do not have the time to read the documentation and I cannot be bothered to use the search engines".
The number of postings is no reflection of ability, understanding or willingness to offer help.

And don't forget the ones who leave their email addresses so they don't even have to bother checking for replies on LQ. As If.
