Change forum name for the editorials section
 

Hi, Jeremy,

I just noticed that the forum
Linux - News Articles and Editorials

also has a lot of Microsoft news and other tech news. Why not rename it to:
Technology - News Articles and Editorials or
IT - News Articles and Editorials

It sounds more to the point and also more articles can be submitted in that forum.

I think because its going to mainly be News regarding Linux and Open Source technologies. Its probably that it just so happens where a few Microsoft news articles will slip through cause they are mentioning or impacting Linux of Open Source, etc.

I think its fine the way it is now.

Drew is correct - we will not be including random IT related materials in the News section, so the current name probably fits best.

Ok. The same thing occurred to me as well. Probably the "focus" will remain Linux. No reason to change that focus, as this site *is* LinuxQuestions.org.
