Cannot edit a post sometimes

I just started using Opera (9.27 on NetBSD -current on AMD64 in Linux emulation mode) for more things recently and I noticed tonight that I seem not to be able to edit my posts successfully very often. About 2/3 of the time it takes me to the "can't edit the post, sorry, contact the administrator" page (where postid=undefined in the URL string). But sometimes it does work. JavaScript is enabled for .linuxquestions.org, but I'm taken to the full edit page as opposed to the AJAX-y in-place edit, not that I'm surprised by that totally since Opera probably isn't extremely high on the priority support list. Still, I thought it odd that it behaved somewhat unpredictably. As strange as my client platform is, it wouldn't be my first inclination that that's the problem, but maybe there's something at play there. Anyway, I thought I'd better report it and see if someone else may be having the same issues.

Running Ubuntu 8.04 last night, faced the same problem -- trying to edit a post (correcting typos, not a big deal as such, but still) brought me to the page that told to contact an administrator. Tried a few times to go back and click Edit again, no dice..then refreshed the page and it did work (not sure if it was the refreshing that helped, though).

Today I tried again, no problems so far.

We are aware of this issue and are looking into it now. We did perform a minor upgrade yesterday and it may be a case of some old code getting cached. Thanks for the feedback.
