Can I change my default font?

Is there a way to permanently set my default font? A capital I and a lowercase L look the same right now. I know I can temporarily change it using the font settings...

Edit: okay, this is weird. Why is my default font in this forum a courier type font and in other forums a Verdana looking font where the I's and l's look the same?

Edit2: Why did my font change when I edited my original post?

funny... I and l (L) look different to me... (in both text entry and regular display) [but the 1 (one) and l look very similar. (er... that is, in the text entry mode)]

I assumed that LQ was taking the default font from the browser... I've seen it in times/serif before.

I think TG has the right Q -- Are you sure this is an LQ problem, not a browser issue?

If so, why?
