BugMeNot

I was just at www.bugmenot.com and for fun did a search for LQ. It had the account anonymous555. I did a check and I could log in. Thought you might want to know this.

With things such as the times i think registration is stupid, but for boards such as this there is indeed a good reason.

I took the account over so now it has a unique password and the account won't pose as a threat in anyway. If you are anonymous555, email the site admin or myself to get your account back, which you shouldn't be giving out your username and passwords on other sites.

Cheers.

PS. This is trickykid typing this message. :p

Jeremy, maybe this would be a good reason to force members so they can't have the same password as their username, like this account clearly had?

umm, according to the sites FAQ all you have to do is ask and they will remove your site from there lists if you don't like it

I'd guess the account was created when I had to disable the search for guests. Hopefully we will never have to do that again.

Well I only loged in as anonymous555 to check if it worked. (it did) No intention of using it.

Yeah, thanks again for the notification. I logged in and changed the password so others can't use this account for damaging purposes.

Cheers,
