For a blog post you have to select "Publish now" option (scroll down), and then "Post now".
Profile picture can be uploaded after 150 posts, AFAIK.

You can delete your blog, but actually it won't get deleted. It'll just vanish from other people's eyes. You'll still be able to see it.

Well, that's what happened the last time I attempted to delete a blog!

The age old profile picture question, You can put pictures on your profile page (some people here have really freaky ones, makes me wonder what type of substances they are on) but they do not show up on the posts you make like they do in other fora. This was the first forum I never had one on and I don't miss it even though my dog is the cutest thing on the planet and does deserve to be on all my pages

Click "Edit" on your blog, then look at the top options. BTW, I cannot even see your blog. Is it in the "draft" mode?

Avatars can be enabled in your profile settings.

Its in published state.Yet you cannot see it.Also I have now found the Edit option and when I want to delete the entire blog it says that its just a soft delete.

Even for enabling the avatars I guess I need some points

Can you present a screenshot of your blog?

And no, avatars cannot be enabled anyhow - thankfully!

It is clearly mentioned there that blog has been deleted by you.
How you expect then others to see it?
