Allow thread starter to indicate problem solved

Wouldn't it be useful if the thread starter could flag a thread somehow when his problem has been solved?

This would help both the people trying to solve other people's problems, because they only have to look at non-solved threads, as well as the people looking for solutions to their own problem, because they could first search for solved threads about a similar problem.

This is a great idea and has come up before. I hope to implement it someday, there are just a few things I would like to do first. Thanks for the suggestion.
