About LQ dependence

Hi, all! This is not too serious, but... since I am using and posting on LQ I acquired a sort of dependence... real dependence! That is every time I have an internet connection at hand I connect to LQ and look for questions to answer, despite of the fact I have a lot of tasks to accomplish at work! My suggestion/request is to add a little but illuminating "HOWTO not rip your hair when you cannot connect to LQ" and maybe add links to some clever psychologist. Thank you a lot!

I can totally identify. I think it is partially "missionary zeal". There are so many people out there who need help.
I try to learn something everytime I help others--its a WIN-WIN

Same here. If I haven't been on LQ for a while, it seems like I might fall behind the rest and I have to catch up fast...

I can relate to the fascination. I came here in sheer desperation; a messed up system can really ruin your progress! But after learning the answers to my problems, I've become so totally fascinated by linux that I am definitely hooked on this site. But now I've been able to answer a couple of very basic questions from what I've learned, even though I'm still so new, but it was nice to be able to share what I'd been taught. Finally a chance to give something back for all the kindness done for me. Still wish I could offer much more, but I don't know enough yet. So I glue my eyes to the boards in hopes of being able to understand something.

I wish I could nominate a couple here for some kind of award for being so nice. How about an unofficial, unendorsed kind of LQ award. Hats off to...well, probably half the forum.
