A stupid question about LQ

Okay, so I haven't really been around regularly for a long time, and I want to know: When a person posts, what are the little pictures under their name, usually a Tux, and something else? How do they get changed?

Thanks.

The first icon is from your browser user agent. It identifies what OS you are using, if possible (depends if your OS or yourself have set the OS in the useragent string).

The second one tells of you are online or not (the "?" on tux's belly means you are online)
