A little prediction
Allright- prettymuch anytime someone posts a forum problem, jeremy usually pipes up with a "thanks for the heads up, it should be all fixed in the next forum version"
Ok, so, this new major forum update is really exciting. When will it come out? I'm tipping the month of December, just in time for Christmas. (why? cause in other threads there have been mentions of "couple of months")
So, lets see- ah the 18th of December is my guess.
Anyone else?
Note this isn't a competition with prizes or anything- just a little fun. (unless someone wants to sponsor it!)

I have no idea when it will be, but I'm interested nonetheless.
I'm sure Jeremy can't anwer when EXACTLY it'll be, but could he please give us a little more info then "a few months"?
Just out of curiosity...

I'm willing to offer a brand-new, hot-off-the-production-floor, magical, mysterious, imperceptable, imperious, Invis-O-Matic Imaginary tinfoil hat as a prize!
Quote:
With our new high-deflection/absorption Infinitarium* core, the Invis-O-Matic Imaginary tinfoil hat provides 850% MORE protection from Those Who Wish to Read Your Thoughts than aluminum alone! Plus, thanks to our patented Imaginary technology, only YOU will know you have it on, freeing you from the taunts and jeers of THOSE WHO JUST DON'T KNOW!
It will make your whites whiter, your colors brighter; overcast days will become bright and sunny, right before your eyes!
You'll laugh!
You'll cry!
You'll fall down!
Invis-O-Matic Imaginary will change your life!

BTW,
I'm thinking a release date within the second week of January.

Well, it's dependent on quite a few things, so I can't really be more specific. I'll do everything I can to make sure it happens this year though. In the end "when it's ready" is the only real answer though.

hehehe. well, it's actually not as bad a debian...
C'mon guys- dates! like the 17th of feb or whatever. Like the "when will LQ hit a million users (??) thread" (was it a million? I dunno. I can't remember- and I'm too lazy to check."
I will be offering a gmail invite to the winner (who ever is the closest to the actual release) - plus you get Charred awesome prize. Anyone else with awesome prizes to offer?
