A few issues with the new LQ setup on the quick posting box

I see the LQ has changed and does seem to work very well.

Just have a few little annoyances.
One issue I have is when I write a quick responce to a post I sometimes enter a quick search link in my search bar and get the needed info. I then go-back to the post and anything I have written is gone. This did not happen in the old setup. I am just so used to the old way here. Same happens if I go-back one page and then go forward back to the post. Anything written is gone.

Another slight annoyance is when I repondeing to a post and the updated page is brought up. It would goto my last post there. I would then save that page and go on. Now with the new setup when I bookmark it bookmarks the beginning of the post. So to see any other responce I have to move down to the bottom or page forward to the last page. Just a little extra time that seems unneeded.

One thing I do like is when I bookmark a post it uses the subject first then at the end it puts the name LinuxQuestions versus the old way.

Thank you for your time.
Brian

For the first comment, I'd recommend that you use browser tabs. Clicking back is get to something you left in a form will not work in most browsers. As for the second one, you're just bookmarking the thread, so by default you'll go to the top of the page. If you want to get to a specific post you can use the "#n" links in the upper right hand corner of each post. Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you for the suggestions and reply Jeremy. Sometimes hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Just noticed a new thing a while go. If I need to edit a post it opens within the post itself instead of a seperate page. I like that. Other than that, the forum works very well. Keep up the good work.
