Freelance Sysadmin Required
Hello –
We’re looking for a freelance sysadm to (a) help migrate from our old server to a new one and (b) provide routine sysadmin services thereafter.
This is a telecommute – it doesn’t matter where you’re located. We are based in central London, the server is with Superb Servers in Virginia, USA.
Most of our sites run on a combination of the CMS SubDreamer and the forum software VBulletin. Obviously, Linux / Apache / MySQL familiarity is essential.
After the initial migration, we would be looking for a few hours a month, applying patches and updates, hardening, etc.
The company is Redhammer Management, our website here:
http://www.redhammer.info/
You can post a message here, or send me a message via the online form here (put “Sysadmin” in the “Client” field):
http://www.redhammer.info/Client_Index
Thank you!
Peter Cox

Whoa - credit points to Peter (and his people) !!!
Too many companies need to be able to pat some-one on the head each morning. Good to see some-one prepared to accept an (external) telecommute as a possibility even.
Good luck getting the right person mate ...

Thanks for this... generated during our migration to a new server. Plesk's Migration Agent is (imho) hopeless at migrating large dbases, users and permissions correctly. Its all been fixed now via shell access.

... but I should say we're still keen to find a sysadmin, even though the migration has pretty much concluded faster than anticipated.
