FOSS project
 

Looking for coders interested in being part of a Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) team. The project consists of building/optimizing a Linux distro used for personal computing. Distro will be able to be boot on top of a host computer running Linux, Macs or Windows, using Qemu. Proof-of-concept is complete and now in the planning stages of the project. Project will be licensed with GPL.

Looking for true geeks that love to hack code in several languages and have fun doing it. Proficiency in working and developing on Linux (any flavor - debian, redhat, ubuntu, slackware etc.).

Experience in one of more of the following languages:

-C, C++
-Python
-Perl
-UNIX shell
-Rebuild, optimize linux kernel

I am located in Tampa, Florida US but there is no requirement to live close or even on the continent.
