External Hard Drive Dual-Boot

Hello. I was wondering if you can do a dual-boot with Windows XP with XP on the internal SCSI hard drive and Linux on an external SCSI hard drive. Thank you.

As far as I know it is possible for the following reason.

1. Boot mounting point gets installed in the first disk ( this would be your XP side or C disk)
