Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

This thread is to discuss the article titled: LQ ISO FAQ
LQ ISO FAQ Note: LQ here refers to LinuxQuestions.org and LQ ISO refers to http://iso.linuxquestions.org 1. Are these ISOs hosted by LQ ISO ? No, these are not hosted by LQ ISO instead LQ ISO just provides the direct download link to these ISO using HTTP,FTP or Bittorent. 2. Why can't I find distros for some of the versions ? The reason can be either they will be updated soon or they don't offer ISO's directly for download. For example, there are some distros which do not provide a direct link for ISO download. They ask for some user information before redirecting to the ISO link. In that case we do not have the direct download link of that ISO.
