Hi, my first post, want to learn Linux

I joined some time ago and then things happened... and now I can commit some time to learn Linux. I just built my first desktop, it works great!Using XP Pro and plan to load Mandriva too. Looking forward to experiencing Linux.

Welcome (back) to LQ. Good luck with your first install...just remember not to get too frustrated if things go wrong. It happened to me, and boy did I feel silly after figuring it out .
