I'm in a hotel room in St Louis wrestling with an uncooperative Asus eee pc and came across your site. I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to Linux, so a lot of your questions and answers are over my head, but there's no better to way to learn than being thrown in the deep end.
I retired last year, and among other things I volunteer with a club that teaches seniors how to use computers. I know that the more I teach, the more I learn.
