Attempting to access tutorial page

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
I'm new to linux/unix. I happened upon this forum while trying to install the ventrilo server on my mac. I put a file in the wrong place and want to move it. I was hoping to use some of the Linux tutorials here to figure out the commands I need, but this forum requires me to be friendly and introduce myself first.
