Nvidia drivers on debian

Well I used this http://home.comcast.net/~andrex/Debian-nVidia/ as reference. When installed it I noticed I couldn't run any opengl screen savers. It would display an error saying permission to /dev/nvidiactl is too restrictive. I then looked at the permissions and found that u had to be either logged in as root or u're a member of the video group which I wasn't initally.

usermod -G video username

Then it worked!! But u'll have to logoff then log back on for changes to take effect.
