I now have CDs availabe for Mandriva 2008 Power Pack but I'm hesitant to load the new version. The Mandriva 2007 Power Pack that I am presently using is the best OS that I have ever used in my entire life and I'm 52 years old. 2007 has done everything that I have asked it. I can run any application I choose, no problem with 2007 ! I finally bought a new PC just to load the 2008 on because I love the Mandriva 2007 installation so much and I use it everyday for at least 4 hours a day. OpenOffice, Nvu, Firefox, KsCD, K3B, Audacity, Sox, ecasound, Kaffiene, Lin DVD, etc. , it all works perfectly !

Hi Scott,
I have to say that I liked 2008 even better than 2007. If you have any doubts, just don't overwrite your 2007 and install 2008 in another partition for now.
