Java in Netscape 7.2

I finally got my Ameritrade Applet running on Netscape 7.2.
What one has to do is install the latest Java jre 1.5 and create a symbolic link in netscape plugins folder.

cd /usr/local/netscape/plugins
ln -s /usr/java/jre1.5.0/plugin/i386/ns7/ .

Tried this also on Firefox and it worked too! Great since I prefer it to Netscape.

Okay, that's great. Not sure why you created a whole new thread when you already mentioned this in your ongoing thread but I'm placing this in Linux - Success Stories, where it seems more suitable.

And we also have edit buttons, no need to keep replying to yourself to add more info to your original post.
