i'm an happy slack newbie

Yesterday nigth i've installed slack9.1 on my laptop and now i'm an happy man for two main reasons.
First of all with slack i bring back to life my notebook (it is an old fujitsu-siemens p4 at 600mh with an the embarassing amount of ram of 64mb). Before i've tried fedora and it was so slow that during the boot and the start of the x server i could hardly managed to stay awake, but now everytihng seems to work fine with a reasonable speed.
The second reason of happiness is that in a single night, better in a couple of hours, i've learned more about linux than in an all year of training with fedora.
I was a little afraid about installing slack because they usually said that it is not for newbies, but now i do believe the we are talking about one of the best linux distro availabe with an amazing educational power.
Of course the black screen with the blinking prompt made me quite uncorfortable at first, but with patience and reading the large amount of available documentation i made things happens.
It's true what i've heard: "when you go slack, you never go back!"
And now the bad news. Now you all have a brand new slack addict newbie to take care of, so be prepared for a number of silly questions.
I wish to thank you all very very much in advance.

I guess in this case (Moderated by: Aussie, jharris, MasterC, unSpawn, XavierP)
would be they.

No offense meant, mate! Maybe one day you'll become a Slacker, too!
