hooley dooley Suse rocks me!

Ok, imagine the scenario, I've been struggling with Mandrake 10.1 no internet connection - finally in sheer frustration I chuck my Suse 9.1 disk in and wipe Mandrake off the face of my hard drive - my Suse installation goes incredibly smoothly - and this is only 1 cd where Mandrake was 3!

Installation complete - the moment of truth do I have an internet connection YES, YES, YES, thank the good lord of linux and sound (which I didn't have when using Mandrake on same machine) and also the online update works as well (which it didn't for Mandrake) - so overall I can safely say that in terms of a success story for a newbie like me having lived with windows for years, Suse is definately the best distro because it actually works!
