Dualbooting Linux and Windows using lilo

after much help frim skitzo, i finally managed to get lilo dualbooting Linux with WindowsXP.

here's what i have in the way of hardware:

hda: WindowsXP
hdb: Gentoo

after much confusion

i found a site which suggested making both OSs think they're the primary master. here is my lilo.conf

what windwoes needs to think is that its the primary master. copy'n'paste if you like into /etc/lilo.conf. i found i needed to mount /boot to run the /sbin/lilo command (install)
