Debian on my laptop

I'd like to bore everyone with my unexciting news about installing debian woody on my lap top!

26 floppy disks (well 2 used over and over) and I got the base system installed. Then I had to learn how to connect to the internet via a serial lead to my desktop Debian computer, I got the hang of masquerading and it worked first time! I know more about the 'route' command than I ever though I'd want to know.

It took a while to download all the things I need to use on it but it is just finishing off now with the last few bits and bobs.

Very cool and well done. If you have the time (and inclination) have you considered documenting all you went through and creating a Linux Tutorial? I think that the method you used is awkward enough to be of help to others.

Well, if it might be of use to others I'll give it a go. It's good to help out the community as they have helped me a few times.
