3D support on an ATI IGP 340m!!!

Whoohoo.... after trying forever to get my IGP 340M in my laptop to work (with 3d) I finally did... the glxgears numbers aren't great, but tuxracer runs fine... and when i get home, i'll try UT2004 on it.

If anyone is wondering how I got it working check out the how-to I posted over at fedoraforum.org - (oh yeh and like the site implies my how to is slanted towards fedora, but I'm sure that you can make it work for you if you try hard enough)

(URL REMOVED)
its in the how-to forum of fedoraforum.org... would post the URL, but I don't have enough posts yet...

If there is enough interest in the how-to or if the mods would like me to, I'll gladly post the how-to here too... (when i get ehough posts or the mods let me...)

Peace
John

hey great work. Congrats. You can email Jeremy(owner of LQ) and ask him if you can post the howto here. I am sure it'd be big help to all.

Cheers.
