Hey glad to join the foreum, a little about me, I'm a linux enthusiast and have been for years, I run linux on all my test beds, and dual boot on my gaming system. I'm looking forward to talking with everyone, and try and get some help with setting up my web site, again I am a smut bag, so excuse me if I offend. But we all look why not make some bank at the process, right right ;-}
welcome to LQ, but to start of on the right foot, it's of no concern of us what kind of site you run, so please feel free to not mention it, and not link to it... otherwise it looks an awful lot like an advert... i hope that's not the case.

Having confessed to your mission, you'll lose a few potential helpers--starting with me. sorry--your decision to put it in our face.

Grow up buddy, the invisible man from the sky won't strike you down for helping a pornographer, and I'm quiet proud to be one, considering I'm 21, and well yeah I am PROUD, and I can't help but boost, anyone reading this don't be ashamed, if you had your own porn site, would you not boast and be proud or would you fall prey to embarrassment and allow others jealousy to destroy your confidence, we all have one thing in common here (obviously not spelling ability) but a deep love of computer and why not incorporate that love of computer with your hobbies and make a business, its 2007 people, lets step off our high horse and let be what is.
Oh by the way if the guy that wrote Topologilinux looks at these forums (I hope he does) Dude your distribution kicks *** and I think I've brought more people into the linux world with copies of it then any other distribution that I distribute (for free). And besides, I'm sure I'll be able to extend some support to others why I'm here, especially newbies looking to migrate from windows,

BTW, anyone used Vista yet, can you say, MAC and Linux put together with annoying popups.
ronaldprettyman, No need go off on a very senior member ("Guru" in LQ terms) because he politely informed you that your tastes aren't the same as his. I found the tone of your reply abusive & a personal attack. Please lose those tendencies in your future posts.
pixellany, I'm sure you know what the "Ignore List" is for & how to use it.
To add to Archtoad's words (which is pretty much what I would have said), the reality is that LAMP (or BAMP, for BSDers) runs most of the web and Ronald is not alone. What he runs on his boxen is none of our concern from a technical help point of view, helping him to make sure he is secure and stable is.
Anyway, this is meant to be a "welcome" thread, so welcome Ronald.
