Thumbs up What is of the happening?

Hi fellow open-source users/supporters. It's been 2 years since someone convinced me to ditch the blob and take up linux. Well, it hasent been going that well. Too many software issues (no support) that I need, but I'm learning os some new open-source software replacements which is nice. Im a multimedia guy and need things like Flash, and photo-editing, video-editing software.

My initial linux of choice was ubuntu, bach in its 5.10 days. But now i wanna try something new. and I always thought suse was kinda cool.

Its goot to be a part of the community

As you're a "multimedia guy" perhaps Ubuntu Studio will serve your needs better. Check it out here: http://ubuntustudio.org/.

ran accross it once

I've heard of this distro. And I even tried it once, but it only worked once. I downloaded and iso and tried to install it, but it would only let me install as an OEM. It was weird.

But now that you mention it, I just might give it another try.
