Very wet behind the ears newbie

Hey everyone, and yes I am like it says a very wet behind the ears newbie, a greenhorn of greenhorns, etc., etc..

I've grown up with DOS and windows, much prefer DOS but know Windows is a necessary evil. Have read about Linux for years and have decided to now take the plunge and really start learning about it.
